Summer Solstice Celebration

Last weekend Robbie and I joined our friends Katrina and Mark to watch the Fremont Solstice parade and then hang out on their rooftop.

The parade was very entertaining. I couldn't believe the crowd that it attracted. There were many wonderful floats that celebrated the welcoming of Summer and our longest day. There was also lots of interesting attire, and non attire at all, present. I'll have to post more pictures later...

Here is a pic of one of the floats and Katrina and I enjoying some rose on her rooftop.

We had a great time!

A Little Practice

Last week we had dinner with our good friends the Roewe family. While they were visiting we decided that it would be a good idea to let Robbie practice holding a baby.

Here is a picture of him holding little Ella. Can you tell that she has had enough of his practice??

Maybe he can try again next time...

1 year down, 1 to go!

The past few weeks have been typical busy work, busy school schedules for us.
Outside of work the "Sex and the city" movie came out... big news for Michelle, and the NBA finals began, big news for Robbie.
This week Michelle finished all her finals for Spring quarter which means that she has officially finished her first year of nursing school. Woohoo!! It is amazing how quickly this year has flown by. It has been quite a journey, and well worth the all the hard work. One more year to go!!
Over the next week and a half we'll be catching up on a long list of "to-do" items that we've been neglecting, especially house work. Hopefully the weather cooperates because the chilly Washington temperatures we have been having are not acceptable!!
We are also hoping to enjoy the little bit of down time we have before Summer quarter begins on the 23rd and Michelle falls off the radar again.
Hope you are all doing well and keeping warm in this late Spring chill. Hopefully Summer will bring along some higher temperatures and drier days for us in the Northwest.

XOXO,
R, C & C
