Carina just loves to give hugs and kisses whenever she can. By the look on Robbie's face this must have been a slobbery one.

Oh Christmas Tree...

This month has been quite hectic in the Hamilton household. As a result, getting a Christmas tree was delayed until the last minute. Carina and I decided to venture out and find the perfect tree to surprise Robbie with when he got home from work. We had a great time with great help from Paul at the Hunter's tree farm stand. Here we are searching for the tree.

Hair

Can you tell from the look on Carina's face that she is not pleased with how I've done her hair? She seems to be thinking, "Mom, why did you do this to my hair? Now I have to take it all out again!".

Holiday Brunch

This past weekend we got to take part in the Inglewood Country Club's Annual Children's Holiday Brunch. The club was beautifully decorated for the season and provided a beautiful brunch spread, (both kid and adult friendly), a magic show and a special visit from Santa. Carina had a blast hanging out with her cousins. She loved watching all the children sit on Santa's lap for pictures (although she wasn't so sure about visiting santa herself). It was a wonderful way for to celebrate the holiday season. Thanks for organizing this Auntie Sal!!

Braids

Carina's hair is finally long enough to start styling (well sort of). I finally got her to sit still and tried out some braids- here are her first braids. They lasted in her hair for about an hour (maybe). She has also gotten very good at taking everything I put in her hair out.

Hurray Huskies for another Apple cup championship and earning a bowl game!! Holiday bowl here we come!!

Bakers in the Kitchen

Today Carina helped bake her first batch of chocolate chip cookies (our favorite!). She was so excited to help mommy with each ingredient and loved seeing the mixer combine everything into yummy cookie dough. She was a perfect helper and taste tester.
