Last week was an exciting week in Seattle. It started with a visit from his holiness, the
Dhali Lama. I was honored to be able to see him speak at the University of Washington during a convocation
ceremony granting him an
honorary degree of Doctor in Human Letters. His message was beautiful and simple. I think the we can all start by finding peace within ourselves and then sharing that with one another.
The rest of the week flew by with work, tests and class.
It ended on a surprising note with some unexpected April showers- SNOW SHOWERS!! A cold front went through the area and we had snow showers Friday and Saturday. The biggest accumulation was on Friday evening. Here are a few pictures of our Spring showers. Don't the blooming flowers look beautiful in the snow?
