On Saturday we celebrated Uncle Bernie's and Myra's birthdays. The Bacani family threw a wonderful BBQ party with wonderful food and games of mahjong. Here is a picture of the birthday celebrants.
I was very excited about the impromptu cake that I put together. It was a chocolate cake with layers of chocolate ganache and whipped cream and topped with some glazed strawberries. YUMMO!! I'll have to make it again sometime.

That cake was really, really good. My managed to take a slice home for me and I had it for breakfast and I SO wish I could've had more!
That's such an awful picture of me! I was so sick that day!
